1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to support compliance with labour management, occupational health and safety, environmental practices and ethical working rules in the purchasing and supplier management processes carried out by our company. Our company attaches importance to acting in accordance with the relevant legislation, working rules and company practices in supplier selection, evaluation and the continuation of the business relationship.
2. SCOPE
This procedure covers suppliers, subcontractor firms, service providers and employees involved in purchasing processes.
3. IMPLEMENTATION PRINCIPLES
The following matters are taken into account by our company in supplier selection and evaluation processes: occupational health and safety practices, employee rights, prohibition of child labour, prevention of forced labour, ethical working rules, environmental practices and compliance with legal legislation.
Suppliers are expected to act in accordance with the legislation in force and with working rules. Requests for information, documents and evaluations in supplier processes are followed up by the relevant departments where necessary. Supplier evaluation and review activities may be carried out by our company where deemed necessary.
4. MONITORING AND EVALUATION
Supplier practices are evaluated at regular intervals by the relevant departments, and improvement and assessment activities are carried out where deemed necessary.
5. RESPONSIBILITY
The relevant departments involved in purchasing processes and company management are responsible for the implementation and monitoring of this procedure.
